Soda cans dug recently in the Sierras
Found some neat cans in the California mountains over Labor Day week. Still some clean cans at high elevation How often do the Tops n pop show up?

Very nice cans! You'd asked about the Top 'n Pop cans. There was a significant find of these back in the late 1980's by Dan Andrews in California. The cans were in really good condition but were repurposed by a lady that painted the bottoms for whatever reason. There were a number of nice beer cans in this find as well. Wally Gilbert also dumped quite a few these.
I suspect if it weren't for these finds they would be much scarcer.
