Regent Cola Cone Top

Hey
picked up the Regent Cola Cone top from Pittsburgh for a pittance.($.25) I know it is all washed out and faded but are they rare at all?
Just wondering....

Dave Tanner's book lists a Regent Cola quart, and a generic Regent Beverages cone, but not a 12 oz. Regent Cola cone as far as I can see. They are all rated an R-2, "very rarely seen in any condition." I'd say your quarter was very well spent!

Hi Eric,

Could you post pics showing front and back the cola? Because the quart exists, it was logical to assume the 12 oz did as well. This would be the first example identified.

Great find, even in pretty rough condition!

INTERESTING CAN,MAKES ME WONDER ABOUT HOW MANY EARLY SODA CONES THAT WERE ACTUALLY CANNED AND STILL NOT IN COLLECTORS HANDS.SHORT RUNS COULD HAVE BEEN INEXPENSIVE IN THE EARLY 50,S FOR CANNERS WITH EXTRA SHEETS.NICE FIND.
