I know the diner well as have eaten there many times. I used to live about 5 miles away. Not sure why you stopped there as it is not on your way to Spring Thaw.
As for warmth, I was in Death Valley yesterday and it was 97 degrees. Wishing it gets to you in PA. Sorry I cannot be there, but had a previously planned Vegas vacation.
