Yeah. It does seem high. I am looking at $66 for the end of December right now. We get a buffet breakfast -- is that included in the rate otherwise?

That said: made my reservation this morning. Happy to be staying for the duration.

Yeah, Keith, the question I'm asking is whether the buffet is part of the non-Thaw room prices people are seeing elsewhere.

Bill,

I don't believe the buffet is included....at least it didn't used to be. I stayed there numerous times with the YSU bowling team a few years ago. I always booked through hotwire and never paid more than $50.00 a night.

It may be different now, I don't know. The quality of the hotel has definitely went downhill.

I just went through the front desk for a reservation, and asked for the room we had last year, 2119. They said they would note it, but couldn't guarantee it. The reservation came through, and there's no mention of the requested room # on it.

this year i will be introducing the new and revamped 2nd annual rusty bunch speed putt-putt tourney . the rusty bunch will be providing some nice cans for prizes as well this year.
the "entry fee" once again will be $5 for the entire event.
speed putting tournament gets:
first place gets 70% of the entry fees
2nd place gets %20
3rd place gets 10%

we will also have a SINGLE ELIMINATION HOLE IN ONE CONTEST.
everyone starts at first designated hole. two tries to make hole in one. all who succeed will move on to next hole. and so forth until only one rusty buncher is left standing!

and a third event is in the planning stages.

tournament will be held friday afternoon. time to be determined soon.
I have had the great privilege of dumping with 68 current and former Rusty Bunch members, to date. Got to hit the woods of Virginia with Charlie Smigo recently.

Quartman and I will be there on Wednesday evening just becasue he can't wait to get there Thursday. We may be by ourselves but we'll hit Quaker State and Lube and sit around with the doors open. We are looking for a new room closer to the RB hospitality, so I hope we don't bump somebody we know.

The deadline for registration for this show ended on 6 march so we hope everybody locked their items (registration and rooms) in for this amazing show. If not, let me know and I can at least work something out hopefully for the show registration. Tables or rooms might be a different story.

Show is just around the corner.

Whoops, too. Are we allowed to just register when we get there? Or should I try to late register by mail?
