Agreed but they originally said that Johnson hit him going into the corner....he didn't but whacked him as he spun and Truex tried to avoid getting hit.
That was a great race! I like the Roval! They should do that at Daytona....same track as the 24 Hours of Daytona.

I've been a pretty regular NASCAR viewer for 20 years or more, and I don't remember a more interesting last lap in any race than Charlotte on Sunday. I loved Kyle Larson squeaking into the playoffs by passing Jeffrey Earnhardt on the last stretch where Earnhardt probably could have beaten him if he could have gotten out of the car and walked to the start/finish line. Cool stuff, and one of the guys I root for least even lost out on going forward in the playoffs!

1976 Daytona 500 - Greatest last lap ever - the race itself? SUCKED !
Pearson is the only driver to finish all 200 laps
Petty and Parsons 1 lap down
4th - 2 laps down
5th - 3 laps down
6th - 4 laps down
7th, 8th 7 laps down .... YES 7 laps down

"Back in the Day" was not so great !
