OK, Here we have a Rare Goebel Variation Lilek #339. This is the first can or version that switched from the German Eagle to the American Eagle. At first the Directions had the #1 on the Opening Instructions in the wrong spot. it was next to the TO OPEN CAN when it should of been next to the HOOK OPENER UNDER RIM for the #1 first step. They soon realized there mistake & corrected it on all the other America Eagles that came after it (Except for minor variation #340) SO, This was a short run can. In Lileks book he sez the grade 3 pictured is the best one he knows to exist & a nice quality indoor grade 1 may not exist. SO, He only gives it one rating as a R-6 for all the known offgrade cans. No Rating for indoor since it don't exist. Or does it? This can is as nice & clean as the Best Known Lilek can pictured in my opinion. Sides & back are clean good condition. Steal it for only $49.00.
