It seems like a lot of the olive drab cans come from Italy. Is this just my imagination or does this have something to do with the way beer was distributed during WWII?
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

agkg25220, it's yours. Sent you a PM to make payment arrangements.

And Pinnacle, it does seem like Italy is the locus point for all the recent OD finds and discoveries.

I think the only guy looking for them is from Italy. And he knows us Americans like them & want them while the others finding them have no clue.

The Falls City I have up on Ebay came from a farmhouse in Italy. The grandfather scrapped metal after the war and saved some of the cans he found and stored them in his basement as novelties. His grandchildren figured out they had value and listed on Ebay. That find was over 50 OD's alone.

I have a Schaefer OD I plan on listing on ebay soon. The prices are all over the place for these cans. It will be interesting to see what it goes for. I bought mine from somebody in Italy. I have never been to Italy but it seems like their climate is somewhat dry so maybe that helps preserve the cans while in other countries, they rust away.
