well not sure if a few hours can really give many highlights... was thinking I could only get to Cleveland and hang in RB meeting and party- which was my intention, but our PREZ KeithKer letting me be his quest I was able to get on the trade floor a bit and moved my practice to 8am so I could get THERE... I dont do alot with cans lately but got back in the mood again... but really it was seeing the guys again, I did miss my PA boys, but saw so many of the RB crew.. leave my BEER wagon at the RB table and go run around.. Keith tells me i need to see come displays right away and he was right- the 12 Horse Ale was up my alley and our RB display with our
Great Lake ports ( umm I do like Buffalo ) great job CMD and good to see ya again.. I see CanDog ( he too misses a dumping buddy) run into Phil Stayman , havent seen him since I was at his Florida house in 98 as we finished a trade from the very 1st months of Dannys RB website.. then theres a whole section of BUFF/ROCH guys...always love hearing can knowledge from MArc Tracey, mattski gets me to bite on the IRO LP.. see a few prominent diggers and rust-ologists Mr Wheaton and eric (Menning) eric was rummaging thru rust flats under tables !! they both thought the IRO was kinda shot, but who knows as it cleaned up.. I relive a phone call I had with Wheaton back in 99 when I 1st dug some cans and needed acid tips, we also are gonna work on getting someone back for a diggin trip - lets hope Dave can work his magic of word to get a certain rust guy back - also back in the early internet Beercan Website days, it was Dave's Mich-a-can website that got me to do the same with Buffalo Breweries, not sure if its even out there still... and speaking of how to's on cleaning rust, Jim Romine wrote a magical story back in late 90s on how to use Oxalic complete with sexual innuendos, and a quote " Save the Ales " and I see emptied Genny Cans and was in need of one- good to see other Genny fans from afar having them and then theres this tall guy hanging and its Bjorn - we have talked on the phone on stuff, and of course we like the fishing thing and it was really cool to get to see ya, I always throw that bucktail for ya, one day a fish will rise for us.. Bjorn and Barry Travis could play inside for me on our RB BBALL team.. a fun few hours and thanks to Dave Reid for helping me find my way home and a big thanks for Keith and Danny for making me a nice little bed in the corner.. RB guys - THANKS ... 3 CANventions now - Syracuse 01, PITTS 03 and Cleveland '17 ( and all on a Friday) alright had a fun time and needed to get that off my chest..

Re: CANvention high lights...
Great you could make the show and that you had a great time. You are also correct that Keith and Danny are two of the nicest people that the hobby has and they will do (almost) anything to help out other collectors.
Great to meet you as well.

Re: CANvention high lights...
Great to see you KB. Glad you could make it and reconnected with many RBers and hopefully rekindled your passion for cans. Thanks for bringing some Genny. Loved your homeless man beer wagon.
Thanks. Dave
