For Everybody - What I'm looking for at the Canvention

#1

Post by keithker »

Just wanted to start this thread to get chatter started and help others to bring to the show items that might interest other fellow RBers and hobbyists.....This has been done in the past and is a good way to get some folks to throw certain cans into totes that they might not have thought anybody would have had an interest in obtaining......

Here are mine:
Any Florida cans
Pabst Blue Ribbon Long openers
Any O/Is

My main focus will be 16 oz flats, conetops, and crowntainers plus Schmidt scenic flats. To a lesser degree US 16oz steel tabs and US gallons. That one super can at a fantastic price. The ability to budget my money for 4 days.To sell some stuff. One decent hangover sans vomiting and the Kiss cover band from Portland showing up.

New to the site and sorry if this is not exactly the right forum, but this seemed a likely place for good advice. I I collected cans in the 70's and 80's now all in boxes. I want to put a couple sets together for my sons, in box shelves. I have seen pics of wooden display cases, with 16-20 cans, nicely displayed, for hanging on the wall. Anyone know of a supplier that sells these? I have had no luck searching via Google, etc. Thanks!!

Looking for some hard to find flats:

Lt.. Blue and Pink Blatz
Tech 8 oz. with stripes
Goebel 8oz Ale can (no rooster).
Anything from Minnesota that I do not have.
Probably a few others that I can't think of.

Also looking for cool cans that catch my eye.

Should be a good show. Looking forward to it.

Any NJ flats or cones I don't have which cost less than a mortgage payment. Cool tabs, especially from NJ.

I think just about everyone makes their own shelves. If you're not comfortable with woodworking you could probably get a carpenter to make you a couple for pretty cheap.

Michigan cans, particularly the Frankenmuth cones in G1 or better condition. I have a number of MI 5 liter cans coming, and left spots for them as such:

After Canvention, I should only have one left to obtain.

I would have been looking for quantities of the current Bud Light NFL Kickoff Aluminum Bottles
I have lots of the most popular team 'Steelers' & I would have bought all the NON-STEELER bottles at the show that were in excellent condition ... They are 'RARE' in excellent condition
I just couldn't get away from the rigors of life on the deer-farm..
... (food-plot planting season!) .....

Please PM me if you have any non-steelers bottles
will trade or buy your empties
