The Gator Traders will be hosting the annual Snowbird Special show in Orlando 27-28 Jan........Hope to see many of you there.....come get out of the cold and enjoy our great postcard Florida weather........

Wow, I used to live about 2 blocks from where the Hotel is now back in the 70's when I first started to collect cans. The hotel is built on what used to be a 120 year plus old orange grove (that was in the 70's) that I used to hunt for beer cans in. I found my first flat top right between where the McDonalds and Howard Johnsons is located now. It was a blue ABC with the triangle, square and circle. I think I am going to have to make this show.

Looks like you are going to have a really great show. I always enjoyed the Snowbird Special shows when I lived in Orlando. Was it Marcella Schinski that came up with that moniker?
I also have a story about the location. Between jobs, 1990-1991, I worked night audit at what was then the Holiday Inn. It was a crazy year as the hotel underwent extensive renovations and they built out what was then the "Why Not Lounge". It used to be packed, especially on the weekends.

Have my room reserved, can't wait! I have made a decision to down size my collection to focus more on Quarts. I will be bringing 2 totes of cans mostly right off the shelves. These cans will be available for trade or sale at the Snowbird Special. There will be many on-grade Florida cans! See ya'll Friday night.
