First time at the Lebow and Handy experience but certainly not the last. This was the statement I made after my first Blue Gray after; a great experience and with a new roommate Triplealex. Now the feeling is the same after my first Spring Thaw another great experience and another great roommate conesplus.
I think the best part of these shows is the camaraderie. It is always great seeing the regulars and collectors I have meet, but the guys we read on the site that you get to meet for the first time like: King Small, oldmoneytexan, Dwight, Jomama’s son Ben, DaveNH and several of the voyeurs RB community that I can’t remember all the handles, but will remember all your faces, is the best part of a great show. Of course the honor and privilege to meet Mr. Dave Lang and to dip some of his dumpers is something that will stay with me for a long time.
Loved the B/G but for my two cents, or motion, lets continue the RB eastern show with the Spring Thaw camp.
Please enjoy the pic’s and I will post when I get Lang’s dumpers in the dip.
And NO the baldie isn’t for sale it will a perfect combination with the Iron City first tab can to show the non-collectors a bit of canning history. This can has it all going on: first brand canned, label that transitions into the hat, salesman statement about freshness of cans, OI, IRTP, and of course a picture of Chris Taylor.
Burn and Shine brother AHO.

Please find the mystery's resolved or at least most of them. The first bath was the oxalic then I tried some in critic just for **** and giggles. There are still three mysteries left; a quart, a J spout and a flat.

Re: Spring Thaw experience
Dang, that third picture is display of available beers? My first thought was you took a picture of a Departure/Arrival board at the airport!!! Even more great pickups. Very nice.

Re: Spring Thaw experience
Congratulations on winning the Baldie!!! Are those Tennent's that you scored at the show or pictures from Lebo's collection?

Those Tennant's cans are off the chain! As a collector of photograph cans, I promise you, those never turn up!

Re: Spring Thaw experience
I'm about 89.67% sure those are Lebo's. It was great to see Oliver again, I did not even recognize him as it's been a few years and he grew a beard. Outstanding guy in my book. I agree it's just so fun talking with everyone and I would actually need a week at a beer can show to catch up.
