SPRING THAW TAKE 2015

Great show and although I didn't pick up as much as usual , I'm very happy with what I got. I switched gears a tad and quit collecting all IRTP flat tops , now I just collect postwar IRTP flattops and I no longer collect all lo pro cones. I do collect pre-bar-code California cans so I'm pleased withthe 3 new pickups from Spring Thaw

The little Grace 8oz came from Mark Crane and I think I'm through upgrading that one, The Salute cone was a major upgrade from the Good Guys , Dave and Tom and the Golden Glow is off the hook. A pickup just before I had to leave Saturday morning from Jim Plant. Best part , this can is from Jim's American Can Company find and has a New Jersey plant code making this the only example of this can...the other cans were at a ACC plant made out west. Never got to see Jim's cans because he was never in his room! I'm glad I was able to find him before I left.

The Sheridan is IRTP and came from Daev. For this Rusty Buncher that can is spit mint , Thanks Daev!

The Walters , I dumped before but never had an on-grade one....for good reason...they are really hard to find. I spotted it in Dave and Toms totes and those guys gave me a great deal

So with my Spring Thaw pickups , Vegas acquisitions and last weeks ebay scores , Im in good shape for a while!

Hey Dan, I heard those Walters are not so hard to find, supposedly a collectors has dumped them hundreds of times ! I mean, dumping a handful of cans once would still make them hard to find in my opinion !!!! HI V !!!
