Spring Thaw - gauging a successful show

#1

Post by Senator Seebs »

We on the sidelines have but one way to gauge the success of this show. The dearth of reporting on this show is an absolute massive indication of its success rating. People are having too much fun, drinking too much beer, buying/selling/trading too many cans and not giving we poor home-locked souls very much information.

I am very much looking forward to those pictures, stories, finds, arrest records and new tattoos once you lucky basterds dry out and collect your thoughts.

Godspeed on your journeys home.

Very well stated... not totally sold on the too much buying/selling/trading(but I'm sure there was more of that, than information, and stories shared so far).
I would also like to add the old internet adage: "It didn't happen if there's no pics"... ;)

I love pictures from shows, and had every intention of taking and posting 100s of pics, but... No real excuse. I got caught up in meeting so many great rusty bunchers, going room to room, and making it to every table in the show.

My final take home was 11 new upside down cans. Just amazing!

Kb was my travel partner and roomy. He was my host and introduced me to many, many of his old dumping buddies and gave me history lessons about several great cans.

This was my first non-local show, and I am still in awe.
