FROM JEFF LEBO........................click on the attachment below

Hello everyone,

In less than a week we will all be together at the Spring Thaw Show! I am happy to report that this year's show has a record-breaking number of pre-registered attendees with over 385 room-nights at the hotel and 215 tables of beer cans and breweriana. It's going to be awesome!

Attached is your Spring Thaw Information packet which you can print out and bring to the show. A big thank you to Debbie Lorenz for putting this together. New to this year's show is our Saturday afternoon PICNIC IN THE PARK. We currently have over 65 people attending the picnic, which the hotel is catering at $18 per person. If you haven't signed up yet it is not too late. Just email me at jefflebo@aol.com or call me at 717-938-2875 to let me know you will be attending.

I look forward to seeing each and every one of you at the Spring Thaw!

Thawfully,

Jeff Lebo, BCCA #15105

Nice newsletter and schedule of events. Looks like going to be bigger and better than last year which was a great show. Really cool that the hotel is offering complimentary buffet breakfast to registered guests!

Anyone looking for a ride to/from Jeff's place Saturday night, I will have a rental that can hold three other persons other than myself. I won't be drinking other than water in case someone interested in a ride back that may not be in a "most sober" state.

I fly red-eye into Dulles Thursday 6:00am, will be at hotel around 9:00am. Anyone need a ride from the Dulles that early, drop me a PM.

WOW!

For sake of comparison, how many tables were sold for Milwaukee last year? This must be getting up there close to CANvention numbers. Can any other chapter shows compare with this?
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

Okay, so not as close to canvention as I thought but this still must be right about the top for chapter shows. Maybe?

Thanks for a very useful newsletter that answers just about all of my questions. First rate job. I've been looking forward to this show for quite a while. Really excited to hear about the number of people coming for this. Hope I'm stocked up enough!

Quite happy to hear that there will be a breakfast buffet. Might actually be able to get a bite to eat before the show!

Only bad thing is that weather.com makes it sound like the weather Saturday is going to be hellish. Highs in the low 40s with 20+mph winds all day. Sounds a tad unpleasant to a Deep South boy like myself. Packing plenty of extra clothes to try to stay warm. Won't let that deter my great time.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Agreed........great job on the newsletter.

As usual, am really looking forward to the show, and to seeing everyone and catching up with things.

If you haven't been to "the Lube" (Quaker Steak and Lube), it's a great place to get wings and is right across the street from the hotel. The original restaurant is about 4 miles from my house and
was built in an old Quaker State gas station.
I shall leave no cone unturned!!

Looking forward to the show.

I won't be able to do the picnic since that board meeting will probably run past the starting time of the festivities. I also wanted to let everyone know that I will have a big cooler stocked with some of the best beer NJ and the surrounding area has to offer for some sampling after the board meeting concludes. And if you are driving in, any local craft beer that could be added to the sampling (especially cans) would be appreciated. The more the merrier!!

Safe travels everyone, and I look forward to seeing those who will attend. I arrive Thursday afternoon.
