Need Spring Thaw info....

My first time attending this year. So Thursday, Friday, Saturday are the show days, yes? A calculated 7 hours each way sounds pretty good for a show of this magnitude.

I think Marc Tracy and I arrived on Tuesday last year and there really wasn't anything going on. We'll probably get there Weds evening this year.

Why drive 12 hour one way to dig Pre-Tax Tru Blu ales, Genny 12 Horse Longopeners, Gamecock Ales, Apollos, Neuweilers Bock, and Krueger’s Baldies when you can locally drive 10 hours round trip and dig Pfeiffer, Goebel, Drewrys and Strohs?

Can someone post the show flyer or link? I like the idea of showing up late Wednesday or early Thursday. Can't wait!

We came in on Wednesday this year and had a good time hanging out, drinking beer and looking at the few cans that were available. The first part of the show is all for crown collectors. This is actually supposed to be their crownvention for the year, so if you are into crowns it's the place to be.

This is no B&G (yet) and the sponsors don't want it to get that way. But my roomie and I are still coming in Wednesday night, just to set up for Thursday. Thursday-Friday Room-to-room was great. Saturday trade floor was packed this year and they had a second room and guys in the hall. This year after the trade floor there is supposed to be a picnic and games like corn-hole, and maybe some configuration of the "Rusty Bottom Boys" but that will be weather dependent.

Going to be my first Spring Thaw also- wanted to make at least one big show next year and Canvention is just way too far away for me.

So I have a question also- should I reserve my room now, or do I have like a month to do it? I'm planning to hit town around lunch time or so Friday, not missing all the Saturday night activities!
