Beer and Soda Matchbooks

#1

Post by dgcans »

Not sure where I should post for matchbooks but I've collected them for a while now and I was wondering if there are any other collectors on The Rusty Bunch. If so, I'm looking to do some trading! :smt006

I have seen Fox Deluxe matchbooks before from the Chicago area but never one specific to Grand Rapids. If you have one, I might be willing to trade you some money for it (sorry, I have no matchbooks to trade).
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

2023 Shows Attended

* Michigan Chapter Winterfest, January 14, Frankenmuth Michigan
* Cabin Fever Reliever, February 24, Mishawaka Indiana
* Buckeye, March 11, Toledo Ohio
* SummerSwap, July 21 & 22, Frankenmuth Michigan

I've been collecting matchbooks for awhile. I collect matchbooks with stienies on them, stubbies, OI cans, and covers from the following breweries: Mitchells (showing New Mexico Bars), Schneider, Coors (showing NM bars), Coors (showing NM bars), Budweiser (showing NM bars), Stern Brau, Oltimer, and Ems. If you have any of those, let me know and I can do some trading.
Looking for Illinois, Missouri and Texas steinie bottles. Looking for US stubby bottles produced between 1936 - 1941. Looking for ACL beer bottles. looking for St Louis area cans and certain Chicago area flat top cans. Holy Grail bottles are Old Albuquerque stubby from Albuquerque, Wagner Beer steinie(1937) from Granite City, Ill. and Goldcrest 51 steinie, Schepps Stubby, White Rose Stubby both from Dallas

Great new thread! However, chatting in a thread "beer and soda matchbooks" under a category "beer and soda matchbooks" is a little redundant.....expanding the conversations out into other threads would help. I'll start a couple! :-)

Don't have any beer right now but do have a few soda traders. I am looking for pre-1960 Coca Cola matchbooks. If it's shown in the 1st picture, I don't need it unless it's a Diamond Quality.
