Big "R" Treasure Canvention scores

#1

Post by Ceskydup »

Greetings,

My best Canvention for buying/trading and selling in 20 years.

Some great pick ups. The Seattle tray was found in a Mom & Pops Antique shop on the way up the coast. Called a couple of expert tray Guru's sent a picture and one had NEVER seen it before. Ended selling to a local guy out of Bellingham WA and he was over the moon!
The Velvet Glow is a all original pull tab from Grace Bros. Came from a fellow Grace Bros Collector that surprised me with it. I had been after it for many years.
He knew it would be appreciated on my shelf. Only one ever documented to exist. The Hamm's are 11oz all from Los Angeles. The Brownie was an upgrade as was the Gold Seal Quart. 007 Spectre can is from Argentina.

Sold more $ then I bought so I paid for the whole trip! Really was a great trip hosted by Cascade and Rainier Chapters. Class group of folks!

Skoal!

If you are selling a down grade of the quart please let me know. The upgraded one is AWESOME!

The Dutch Lunch was ALMOST on the list of "Top 10" 16 oz. flats I posted on the site a couple weeks back. Super tough can! And if there is a downgrade available I can think of one collector who would like to get one ...
