Canvention dumping...

Looks like there will be at least 5 different groups digging before the show.... maybe 6 that I know of. Andy & Regan, Bob L, Uncle Roy's nephews: Steve, Chris, Mike Wilbur?, possibly Herman, Dave Rusk and Larry Gill. Dale is driving up with his secret weapon, "Pepe" and Steve A will pick me up in his truck loaded with camping gear and we'll go meet Dale down south. Unlike back east, where you can drive 45 minutes and easily dig up some cone tops (I've seen Conehead dig some POS cones at Blue-Gray), there will be no surface dumps to dig in Portland. Everyone will be metal detecting for trash pits. It will be fun and interesting to see what turns up on Wednesday when everyone checks in! I know Scott Field just bought a 100lb sack of acid, so if you need some, I'm sure he can supply it. I'm just hoping I can turf up something decent..... Good Luck to all! I'll need it!

I forgot about Ken from OK ....he'll be digging in Wyoming on the way....not sure about if he'll hit any spots in Potland....

I hope we don't cross paths because that means we are all driving and not digging...plus we want virgin soil to dig.... hopefully all of us will be tied up in big pits that take hours to dig!

Dale is leaving tomorrow and dumping his way up from Albuquerque. Hopefully he'll have some good spots to where all me & Steve have to do is drive up and start digging!

RB dumpers......the plan for the RB display is to have the Oregon and other trails leading to Portland as the backdrop with the remains of the Coulee dump to be in the center and crates and breweriana all around......we could use a few diggers tools, a small log or branches (not bigger that 2'), dirt enough to make it look like a small pit opening and some leaves to enhance the display........we'd greatly appreciate any of those somebody could provide NLT Thursday morning by 12pm...........
