Kaier's QT Cone Top

#1

Post by KCMCAT »

Hi Everyone,

Newbie here. Haven't collected beer cans for over 45 years when I was a teenager. Although, I just inherited a 500-600 can collection from my brother-in-law. I'm just trying to take inventory of what cans he had. It' my understanding this Kaier's Qt. Cone Top is rare. Anyone have any insight on how rare and what the value would possibly be? Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that is a rarer Quart and in great condition. It is not impossible to find but you don't see them very often. Value is a little tougher. My wallet is not big enough to buy cans in that kind of range so I am not tuned in for exact pricing. I would guess $2500 to the right guy or less if you want to sell it in a reasonable amount of time. Just a guess. I really do not know.

Kaier's is a very tough quart in any condition. There are probably less than 20 known to the hobby, maybe less, and only a couple in grade 1 condition or better. Hang on to it if you appreciate a very tough can. Should you want to sell it, I would recommend using a reliable can dealer rather than the auction site. Sea Monkey's suggestion of a value is a good starting point.

Not quite $4300, but close enough to flog that long-dead horse . . .
