This one got good money. I wouldn't be surprized if if a single cap or crown got over $1,000. LEON.

for the most part crowns stay low under 50 bucks.most times they are under 20 bucks. they will sometimes hit 100 plus. but that is because 2 people really have to have it. crowns can be a cheap way to stay involved with the hobby....ron

I recently had 3 that went over $200. And at least a dozen more that went over $100. The whale crown shown in the earlier post was probably bought by the russian lady. She buys any soda crown with animal pictures on them. seems central and south american cork lined crowns are extremely desireable right now as well. i also sold a few 30's crowns with holes in them for over $100 each..
Dont be fooled, they will bring nice money for unused condition. And good money in poor condition for some.

I have had the great privilege of dumping with 68 current and former Rusty Bunch members, to date. Got to hit the woods of Virginia with Charlie Smigo recently.

The early Pepsi crown's either seem to be rarer than the early Coke crowns or collectors are willing to pay more for them. I'm guessing that the record is held by a beer crown but have no data to back that up.

I saw a 1920's prohibition Pabst Orange Soda crown go for about $400. That's the most I've seen.
