My meager collection

Post by Scott Rollert »

When you're out digging, how can you not bring crowns back? 95% of these crowns I've dug over the years, and mostly Colorado. There are a couple I traded for and a couple people gave me.

The crown in the previous pic is actually the one on the cone in this pic. Freshly dug Silver States out of the ground, one with the cap on it. The yellow & green colors match the bottle label. Needless to say, Schneider used their bottle caps for the cones, too.

I have no idea what beverage the Pink Poodle was. Maybe it was a pre mixed cocktail in bottle? It was found along with the Canfields in a utility tunnel on the campus of Colorado College.

Scott,
nice collection. if you go to the CCSI website and use their quick search function and enter walter's or schneider if will give you what information is known about them. it shows most of your schneider's to be from 1933-1941. some will even show its rarity status. and if someone sold one on ebay they sometimes will enter the amount it sold for .
you do have a couple that i did not find in the database. it would be nice to add them.i cna have them added and you will get the credit in the listing that they are from your collection..
jon bailey is in charge of entering new additions to the database. you can find his contact number and email address on the site as well!

AG
I have had the great privilege of dumping with 68 current and former Rusty Bunch members, to date. Got to hit the woods of Virginia with Charlie Smigo recently.
