Grace Brothers in Alaska
Wife and I hit the side of the abandoned highway again testing spots as we went along trying to find a place to detect for a while.
Every place we tested,we dug cans so we leap frogged going along the side of the highway and the abandoned telegraph line.
Plenty of single cans all over where being dug and many times you’d find pockets of 2 to 7 in a sweep of the detector or in a hole.
Last signal of the day we found it first trash pit. Although small it gave up 14 Schlitz cans, couple Whisky bottles, 3 Miller bottles, crowns, planters peanut tin, hills Bros coffee tin and several Circus Peanut tins-a first for us.
High light of the day are finding cans I’ve never dug. Between the wife and I we dug a few Regal Pale Ale, the Imperial Grace Brothers, Red Cap, half a Dozen Jubes, Alaska Grape and another Nesbitts Orange Crown top (second in two day)
Next time I think we are going to plan on taking the RV and side by side in order to stay on site longer. Here’s a few photos from yesterday’s dig. Haven’t to many as the phone died.

Re: Grace Brothers in Alaska
Second one in two days. One is flat and not looking promising and the others face is faded white. I may have Art work on these and make one good can of the face survives off the flat one.willssoda wrote:Another Nesbits cone? Will you sell this one?

Re: Grace Brothers in Alaska
14 cans in a pit is actually a pretty good sized trash pit. If you manage to find more pits up there I’d bet the condition would be killer and you’d be hooked!
