Old Style HP cones

#1

Post by beercanman »

Got these from a guy near LaCrosse WI who found them in a loft area ... I think in a warehouse. He was an electrician doing work. Don't remember the exact count, but about 125 Old Style cones - a few variations but the huge majority were 177-28. Condition all over the place with the average being about a 1- or so.

Looks like some of the good bands held up pretty good on some of them. Kind of strange how cans in the same area... some weather better than others.

I believe this find was quite a few years ago, and most likely all gone into collections. Steve carried around those Old Styles for quite a while.....unless this is another find.

Jim why would Steve post an old find unless he's confused and meant to put it in legendary finds section.

This is the same OLD find from several years ago. I sold the nicer ones quickly and finally got tired of carrying around the rest and moved them to another collector/dealer. He has none left. Sorry to get anyone excited. I'll try to make a new big find and give everyone a shot at the cans.
