Texas Lone Star Find

Came from a beer-drinking Dentist....maybe the Texas guys call fill in the blanks as far as numbers but there was a lot of them ( over 100 each) . ALso included int he find not shown are 1 and 2 sided silver Grand Prize ( not OI)

Other data.....he was selling them at $40 each.....and I believe the location of the Dentist office was in the Midland/Odessa area? Not 100% on that.....but it's what stuck in my head when I talked with him. It also included 2 variations of the brown Lone Star.....you can see them in the picture....first row....first 2 cans.....right one with a bright cream colored halo around the main Lone Star graphic......left one one much darker.

The condition of the Dentist Find cans were fantastic for Texas.

Here is a pic of an earlier Lone Star find. That's Charie Staats back in 1986 in front of almost 500 clean later Lone Star flats. Chances are if you have the metallic version on your shelf that it came from this find. He found one last case a few months ago and brought some of them to the Dallas Canvention.
