Here are pictures of about a third of the Rainier Jubilee cans that came out of a house remodel in Ballard (North Seattle) in 2009.

With only two cans of all those being grey/silver, does that mean that is the "tough" color, alba baby blue color for the Drewery's cans?

THATS ME!!! In the black hat... Long time facebook member Finally joined. Scrolling through the awesome finds was making me anxious. I just happened across my big find Thanks to Carl of the Rainier chapter for taking the pics.

I made that find by following a picture on the craigslist. Guy said he had three for sale 5 bucks a piece. After I met him he had shown me more I gave him 500 on the spot for the cherrys in his bag.

Got a call a few days later he said he had more but wanted 2000 for 4 big garbage bags. I balanced the risk by teaming up with carl and we all split the take.

Doing it again is always on my mind!!! :smt030

Great to hear from you Frank.
I have written about other parts to this massive Jubilee find in Ballard. Frank got it kicked off - leading to the Real Estate agent / Junk dealer who rescued garbage sacks full of Jubilees. The pictures above are from that part of the find. This was about 600 Jubes split between Frank, Tim, and me. Frank already had 100 Jubes from the find.

One thing none of us knew at the time was that there were even more from the find! It seems the contractor doing the renovation saved a couple hundred too. Rainier Chapter member Todd Gerhart is a fellow contractor and somehow hooked up with the guy from Ballard. A few years ago, Todd sold me his low end cans from the find (big holes, lots of scratches). Yesterday, myself, Tim Hoffman, and Scott Field closed a deal for Todd's remaining Jubes (108 in total). Of these, I'd say close to 80 were from the Ballard find.

All in all, there were close to 1000 Jubes found in the porch and crawlspace from that alcoholic in Ballard. This guy drank really HARD for just a few years. Us collectors thank you for your service sir!
