Think about the guy drinking all of those. How long does your wall have to open to drink them and then hide them................

Not hidden.....used as building material...probably they got the cans from a bar and used the cans mixed with the adobe mud inside the walls, stacked like cordwood. One , you would use less "mud" and two , makes great insulation
