Holy cow! I have heard the story several times, but the pics paint an even better picture. What year was this? It must qualify as one of THE BEST finds of all time? A beer can collectors dream find.

Bob, it was the summer of 2003. There were 1056 in all and every can was an Ale! He must not have been much of a beer drinker! Wood

Woody - I was glad to hear the story in person during the Seekonk show. An amazing find. Life changing I would say.

BTW, I am still loving the Drewrys Ale flat you sold me. It may be my favorite can or at least in the top 5! :smt023

Thanks again.

Wow!!!! 2003??? It doesn't seem that long ago!
I remember the call from Woody as if it was yesterday and the following weekend we were there and a bunch of us sitting in his basement cleaning and rubbing cans.Keith was the acid master. At the time I was a huge Croft collector and woody sent me home with the only one I needed an upgrade on and there was only 3 of those if I remember correctly. He also sent me home with an original Croft quart All Malt cardboard case box.
It's hard to believe it was that long ago.

Scott i'll send you the magazine so you can reAd the article. I was living in Montana and Dan CMD called me and told me about it. I called Woody and he was shocked that I knew about it. I told him we are worse than a old lady knitting. Woody sold me the last 24 16oz cones I did very well selling them. Good thing the New England guys like me so much, I bet they wish I lived closer.
