That O/I on ebay had some serious repaint in the black, which I'm not a fan of. Yeah, the split label ale is a toughie!

Sorry Daev, I messed up. I have all of the cans you pictured. I actually posted the wrong O/I variation. The O/I in your pic and in my post is the one variation I DO have. I am instead looking for Lilek 550 with the silver Keglined strip next to seam, and 551 with gold Keglined strip next to seam (no Keglined logo at bottom of O/I panel) and has "Reg US Pat Office" beneath logo on front. I will update my wanted pic as soon as I can get images of those two I need.

Great shiny cans though! Are you looking to part with them? I'm sure they would sell quickly.

The ebay can is the common polka dot background production version of that can. The one in my pic is a test can with a vertical stripe background and white outline around the red text. Thanks for the lead though!

You're right Scott, not THAT tough. 551 is likely the easiest of the 'Gansett O/Is. There are a few others on my list that are even more common, I just haven't run across them super clean yet. Including the 2 I labeled as needing upgrades, I've actually had or have 7 of the cans in my pic over the years but got rid of them in favor of cleaner 'something elses'.

Sometimes I regret it, sometimes not.

Someone asked me how much I would sell one of my Rainier Jubilee cans a pink fishing scene I gave the the outrageous price an they agreed it would look better on my shelf.
