As you browse this list, you may notice there are many missing USBC numbers. When I transferred the original list into the Excel format, I only had the few numbers from the list and what super soft cans I have in my collection to reference. So your help is needed, and appreciated. Feel free to post USBC numbers for cans here. This list has an introduction page with the latest updated date on it, so be sure to check it when looking at the list.

Dave & I will update the list as quickly as possible when new numbers or cans are posted.

A big tip of the hat goes out to Mark Benbow and Robert Fondren for their efforts in compiling the original list, and for permission to post it in the Composite forum.

Jeffery, As long as it's a super soft flat top lid, it's a candidate for this list. Please post the can(s) here with the USBC numbers.

Schlitz 8 oz., 12 oz. and Peoples variety added.

I see some cans just labeled easy open aluminum lid, and some actually embossed with super soft. This tells me you want any aluminum topped flats, and not just those ebbossed with super soft. Is that correct?

Just as a quick plug, I've been watching this discussion develop over the past week and would like to say thanks to those who are interjecting the pictures and ads, etc. This is exactly the direction I'd love to see this forum take. Speaking strictly for myself I get to see things that I've never seen before with contributions like these!

And with respect to super softs - maybe somebody out there has one of these - I noticed Country Club was not on the list. I'm not sure where we want to draw the line because those I saw were actually on 70s-era aluminum cans. Tall 8 ouncers. There were three of them in an eBay auction several months back and this forum didn't exist yet. I didn't think to capture a picture. Anyhow, they were crimped aluminum cans and all three were legit flattops. They struck me as strange and I have no idea where they'd have been sold, unless they were meant for the PNW. Any of you Lone Star State fellers have one to share?

I cut and pasted the thirty 15 and 16 oz softop variations at bottom of the master list.

I don't have any 14os softops yet so can't speak to those

9 of the 30 are unlisted cans in the USBC - shown in yellow.

The cans I highlighted in yellow from the list before I added would need to be added in with the cans I put. I organized my cans excel file a few months back so I could add this info to zips, fan tabs, inserts, slot top/u-tabs also.
