  • 1: Please list up to 20 cans that you feel are the toughest in our hobby.
  • 2: All cans will added to the the list for seeding the tournament.

Toughest is defined any way the voter chooses. Recommend that distinctions like WF, OD, JSpout, volume are legit distinctions......but canning codes, 2 patents, seam type, vanity lid etc be excluded.

As not many finds of really rare cans have surface since the last tourny, I see this as pretty much a repeat. I'd like to see this tourny format combined with the what is your holy grail question, with the final outcome not deciding the toughest can again (will the results really be much different?), but rather highlighting the most highly desired cans.
Looking for the following Lilek #'s:
Alt Heidelberg 26, 27 Columbia 185 Finer Flavor 270 271 Hop Gold 400 404 Sick's 749 750 Silver Springs 763 Rainier 702A Rheinlander 733 Town Club 790 Ye Old English Ale 398

Schlitz U.E.de.A Export (copper flat top with Spanish writing on the side)
Burger Barrel Camel Can
Fort Pitt Ale ("In Keglined Cans" on the face)
White Horse Lager (Toledo) OI
Manhattan Bock
Regal (Detroit)
Finer Flavor Ale

Why drive 12 hour one way to dig Pre-Tax Tru Blu ales, Genny 12 Horse Longopeners, Gamecock Ales, Apollos, Neuweilers Bock, and Krueger’s Baldies when you can locally drive 10 hours round trip and dig Pfeiffer, Goebel, Drewrys and Strohs?

With disadvantage of not knowing what the ___ I’m talking about but am upset I didn’t ‘dig’ deeper during Genke auction and buy that Carling’s military drab cone.

I would like to make entry in the tourney with that.

And to borrow from Bantam; "I am old but know too much".
