Any Tips for Removing Touch-Up Paint on a Can?

#1

Post by DaveNH »

I won this can on eBay a few months ago and was wondering what's the best process for trying to remove the touch-up paint that was applied to the can? I'm not sure if the paint is water based or oil based, but would assume it's water based latex paint. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

That can is so hard to find. I would leave it. Just my opinion. You may wind up with a really rough label underneath. At least it's displayable this way
