Waste of time?

Gonna do a moderately strong soak overnight. Hoping to see something identifiable.

Will post "results" tomorrow afternoon.

Oh and, I haven't used the Ox in more than thirty years. The memories of lost youth flow once again, and, I forgot all about that pleasant egg-ish odor...oh joy!

I got pretty decent results. Alas, the crown didn't survive; there was enough visible to see that it was an Old Shay before it gave up the ghost. The pieces will be laid to rest in a private, albeit respectful ceremony.

***On a side note, I didn't dump these myself. A new friend, someone I met at the Fredrick Md. show did about 30 years ago. I stopped in to see his collection and walked away with a load of lovely rust.***

Now, my thinking is that these are about as good as they'll get.

One of the two "best of lot" cans. It was a coat of WD-40 on it. It'll sit right at home with my other rust.

The flat was a mystery too. It wasn't pictured before, obviously.
