Any Suggestions on Soaking Crowntainers?

#1

Post by Giant Beer »

I've got a couple of crowntainers that would benefit from a soak. No serious rust here, indoor cans with what I would call rust stains. I had planned on using a weak solution with room temperature water. On flats and cones I'd use citric acid, but with crowntainers maybe oxalic is the way to go. Any thoughts/suggestions? Anyone have any issues with colors bleeding?

WI, MI, MN 12 oz. flats and cones,
crowntainers, 12 oz. tabs,
"Vegas" themed cans, cans with a skiing/snow boarding theme, and
12 oz. Michigan tax stamp cans
