Ok. Here is what we have. The can we are dealing with is 180/3. This particular version I'm showing here has a Cap Sealed panel with the patents info below the Cap Sealed panel. Uncle Roy and Art were sending me what they thought was an upgrade to my shelf can, but when I got it I realized that it was different than my shelf can.
The first can which is the one from Art shows the IRTP statement as it normally appears, consistent with all the other variations that I have of the slanted Rainier Old Stock Ale. However, the second can is different. The second can has an IRTP statement that is clearly half the size of the normal size, and the oval is filled in with something else in the space that normally contains the entire IRTP statement. I never noticed this until today.
What do you think? Big R - what say you?

Re: Rainier Old Stock Ale Cone Variation
Very cool Matt, thanks for sharing! Mine is like the first version pictured - but with Patents Applied For above Cap-Sealed.

Re: Rainier Old Stock Ale Cone Variation
Matt...can you see the date stamp on the bottom of each can? If they are quite a bit different, perhaps it's just a printer issue when printing the cans? Interesting, I'll have to look at my Rainier Ale cones now.
