Didn't say you faked it. Said "You are pretty tricky. So I'm still waiting to see pictures of the whole can. :smile:" And you were tricky, it was the non-irtp version. And I didn't put together that it might be non-irtp so I didn't check that can. But yes my non-irtp has the same canning code as your can. Also, the tarnished can I had showed a little bright gold on it so I agree the dark green cans are just tarnished can and were not production cans.

Here are pictures of the tarnished can I had. You can clearly see the bright gold along the seam.

Pics of my dull Altes with shiny spots on front. I've seen a few with shiny spots near seam but not many with shiny spots elswhere, like the front. LEON.

I guess I shouldn't have doubted the Altes expert, Leon. So do all the non-irtp ones have ccc21-A? And is there an undiscovered ccc21-B with an alcohol statement?
