Pacific sign on ebay

Has anyone seen the Pacific brewing porcelain sign on ebay. Looks like the can but I don't know. I'm getting a fake vibe from it. Any Cali guys ever see one before?

It's been listed for a while, it seems a little too nice for a sign that old but I what do I know.

Amazing how this stuff (dittos, repros, etc.) comes up again and again.

Thanks for highlighting the old thread on this subject Barry. Lots of good information on this sight for the vigilant collector.

Just one more reason to love the rusty bunch.

That's probably the 7th or 8th one they sold...........very fake.............theres some Carnegie signs they faked as well

The general consensus of some local advertising collectors (not just beer) is that these were made for the South American market. They were probably made south of the border. The one I have has no markings, but it is clearly a 30'/40's era sign. I am happy with mine.
