Pabst Tonic Label

I picked this label up over the weekend. I am interested in knowing anything about it regarding value, age, etc.

My guess would be during Prohibition.............. (You probably guessed that yourself....lol)

Just before prohibition or after. The label says pabst brewing which was a no no during prohibition. It also says breweries like the O/I's so I think late 1930's

I still believe the Brewing thing is wrong. I've got items from that time with the word Brewing. My theory is that in the beginning of prohibition company's changed their name but when near beer was allowed they went back to Brewing. I've never been able to find any articles to validate it.

I would bet later, 50's more likely. Shows contents in metric and has the "Manfactured in the United States of America." You tended to see that on later 50's cans

The 35.5 cL also supports that this label was form the 50's.

The label comes on a steinie and the steinie didn't come in to play until post prohibition so I'm saying 30's or 40's. Definitely NOT 19th century!

The only reason it does not say withdrawnfree of tax for exportation is because like the other label sez in link. Non Taxable since non Alcohol. If the other link thinks it's 1889 I have to Disagree. LEON.

P.S. Heres what another 1940(s) Pabst Label looks like that Also sez 35.5 Centiliters & Made in USA.

Brad, how do you know the label comes on a steinie? Do you have a picture or an actual bottle with the label on it?
Apparently there is a discrepancy between some of the RB members and the Milwaukee County Historical Society.
I am leaning toward it being a 1930's or 40's bottle label, but would like to be sure. Maybe some other people can chime in.

Maybe someone can date it using the perforations on the label. Here is a pic showing the perforations from the back side of it.
I know some labels are easily dated with their perforations, but I can't make sense out of these.......Also, here is a link to a Pabst Tonic bottle listed as being from the 1920's............................Note it is from Premier Pabst of Milwaukee, which would pre-date this label being from Pabst?
