LEON....you've got bigger ba........bottles than I would to get out under those conditions.....good to see your effort paid off.....shame there wasn't a little bit of that snake oil left over for you to test.......I'm sure it would have resolved all your kidney, liver and bladder problems......

Hey Leon, my bud has that bottle in his antique shop. Could've sat on the couch and bought it but what fun would that be? Can't catch a fish if your not fishin'! Bjorn

I didn't pick it, my buddy did the week before. He dug threw the brown dirt till he hit yellow sand. Then he said it petered out & it was done. He then moved on to another spot he probed & said I could poke around in this hole if I wanted to. I got a knack for finding stuff when they say the hole is done & he knows that. SO, I did what he should of done but he didn't. I probed all around his hole, starting at one end & go all around the walls of hole. Nothing. Then I started probing the floor of hole, got about 3/4 around floor hole when I hit massive good feeling spots, Meaning the probe was feeling soft spots, layer's, crunchies ect, ect, for about another 4 feet or more. And we were already 3-4 feet down. So I start digging. Digging layer of & tons of yellow sand. They come back over & think I'm crazy & wasting my time. SO, I say oh, yeah, take my probe & poke here. He does & agrees it feels good. So I start pulling out lots of late 1800's buried garbage. I'm in the hole when they say they are tired & want to go.. They start to pack up to leave when I say wait a minute, I got a good one here I think, They turn around to see me pull out the DR. Kilmer's Swamproot. Then we soon left. might go back next weekend to finish hole if not to cold or buried under Blizzard. LEON.

Got out again today. didn't plan on doing this today but after driving by these 2 rundown house's that I'm familiar with I decided to stop. Looked in basement & attics & under crawlspeces & porches. The one house is ready to fall over & cave in so I'm lucky I didn't fall threw ceiling or attic floor. At certain times I had to jump between/across holes in the flooring, ect. BUT, I did get a little lucky. I did find 2 good 1950's ACL soda bottles under porch of the one house, Called Sweet 16 from Detroit. Then I did find a old prepro (pre 1919) embossed little Geo Norris soda bottle from under the other house but left behind because of broken off top. But now I'm wondering what else might be buried in the dirt under that house? LEON.

take some pictures in the houses - I wonder what you might find underneath as well - hopefully no signs of squatters (those buildings are pretty far gone) - any other weird crap in/under there?

I was under neath. Lots of garbage in house. You still looking for Twinkie wrappers ect. I forgot to bring camera when I went inside, Wasn't really planning on going inside until I seen back door wide open, welcoming me to come in. LEON.

yeah - Im still looking for any sort of food/snack related stuff you might see - most of the abandoned houses (more like shacks way out in the woods) are usually empty up here in MA - I use Google earth to find ones where you would never think to look - it has lead to a couple dumps as well....
