Me & a Buddy dug a 1860's pontil Privy. Found this super rare Newman's Golden Fruit Bitters bottle. Would probably be worth a few thousand if mint but it's not. LEON.

So when you're out digging bottles are there some you dream of digging? Sort of like when we all used to sit and look at the Bible or Class Book and dream of finding the $1000+ cans? Do you guys have ideas of where these various foods, medicines and liquids were marketed and/or found. ?

Looking for a specific copper Drewrys Taurus can with smoke damage and top lid 1/2 cut out. Will pay or trade an upgrade for the can. (Sentimental attachment from my grade school days)

Why drive 12 hour one way to dig Pre-Tax Tru Blu ales, Genny 12 Horse Longopeners, Gamecock Ales, Apollos, Neuweilers Bock, and Krueger’s Baldies when you can locally drive 10 hours round trip and dig Pfeiffer, Goebel, Drewrys and Strohs?

Yeah, I dreamed of digging a rare Exposition. After digging for a few years in Detroit & not finding one I decided I'd find out where the Brewery was located, then look up old 1890's houses nearby brewery, Then pick the magic spot & start digging And it worked. Dug one up 2 weekends ago while old brewery location was right across the street from where I was digging. Another Dream find would be a Lion Brewery bottle. This was Strohs Brewery in 1870's before they changed the name to Strohs. Very rare bottle. Coincedently there was one found in privy across the street (20 years ago) from where I found this Exposition. I'll be poking around there soon looking for another Lion. LEON.

Probably too late to do that unless we do it later this month? I will dump scouting after the show.
