1800’s Old Whiskey Bottle

#1

Post by Pbama »

Anybody know of any old whiskey bottle collectors that might be interested in the below bottle or what it might be worth (if anything!)? It says: “L.H. GATES (or CATES?) NEW YORK ESTABLISHED 1858”

Mines probably around 1890's-1900. No Pontil. There are lots of big time big money Bitters Collectors/Specialist but sadly a whiskey shaped Bitters bottle has very little desirability compared to much more ornate fancy but more common bottles that get 4 times as much but also 4+ times more common. Kinda like Beer Cans. LEON.
