Clean bottles from previous trips
The applied color labels do not hold up like they did 10 years ago. Got more to clean too.

Re: Clean bottles from previous trips
Water and a slight coating of glass cleaner. Cleaning them is no problem, its when you pull them from the dump the paint immediately starts peeling if you are not careful with them. I have to wait a few months just to be safe to clean them. Was never like this a few years ago. Has happened from a few dumps now too.willssoda wrote:What are you using on the ACL's

What kind of glass cleaner? Some have ammonia and can be harsh. Have you ever tried bar keepers friend? Small amount and a soft brush works great.

Usually its by beaver. I'll check the ingredients later tonight but I've been using it forever. And I will try the barkeepers friend. That's a powder isn't it? Do I have to mix it with any water?willssoda wrote:What kind of glass cleaner? Some have ammonia and can be harsh. Have you ever tried bar keepers friend? Small amount and a soft brush works great.
