Finally got my Michigan Hutches on Shelves.

#1

Post by Leon »

I've had these boxed up for many years. To many cans in the basement, SO, I put up shelves in my spare bedroom. Got about 175 Michigan Hutches. I'm trying to get them all. LEON.

nice setup leon, did you dig all them? make sure the shelves are secured nicely that could turn in to a distater if they were to fall.

Hutches date from 1879 to roughly 1910 time frame. some of these I dug in Detroit. the bottles on upper right are 1860's-70's. Probably got another 1,000 bottles but no room for them. LEON.

Very nice display Leon. Really interesting to see all the different colors / shades these were made in. Putting them on the wall together with a light background really shows that unique feature nicely.

Arranged Alphabetically by city starting with the lower peninsula. All the U.P. Bottles on bottom shelf. Top shelf of Quart Hutches are Alphabetically regardless of U.P or L.P. LEON.
