Interesting numbers.. But, also I would have thought that there would be no entries with zero votes. That means that even the person who originally nominated the can did not vote for it when it counted... :smt017

Looking at the cans, and the numbers, there are some real head scratchers. One example is the Hudepohl J Spout, 1 example known, (and that can was used as a door stop for years), with 9 votes, and then you got the "Chief" can, with at least 15-20 known, receiving 12 votes. But hey, we all knew this wasn't gonna be a scientific poll. Just a chance to vote in your favorites, follow the results, and have some fun! :smt006

Well, I have about 20 of the cans on the list of 64. And I can tell you several of them are equally "tough", because they'll never be obtainable as they are unique (for now at least).

I think an equally interesting contest would be the NIT-- the next tier of cans that DIDN'T make the pool of 64.

Is there a place on this website (that I haven't seen yet), the BCCA website, or other place on the web where they have the actual known population numbers for cans like you mention above? Or, could we take this full list when complete and have members privately submit the number of cans they actually have in their possession to have a better idea of actual can rarity? Just a question.

Of course, it seems there are a few "one of a kinds" out there, but it would be nice to have a one stop shop for seeing if you just found a real rarity.

Great idea, but unrealistic. The group tried it and has a chart as you suggest, but it is incomplete as maybe 10% of the hobby participated.

Another note on the tournie-- as far as "toughest" can, I guess the unique cans are tough. But the two cans on the list that don't exist would have to be considered tougher, wouldn't they?
