I remember this commercial, what I can't remember is that it was 1977. I don't think my memory is that long anymore.

I wonder whatever happened to that brand? If I remember correctly, it was considered a premium import back then. So did they stop importing it, or did a big brewery buy the label and not promote well enough to keep it alive?

It wa s licensed by Miller and they pretty much destroyed its "premium-ness", at least to me. later on a Canadian brewer was selling it here. Don't remember which one. Haven't sen it for a while.

Baltimore orioles had an outfielder around the time of lowenbrau. And Chris berman would call him John "let it be " lowenstein ... I always liked that one
