Here is a pic of aLockheed Wagner Quart I picked up today at a car show....2 bucks, I thought it may be worth the BIG gamble of dropping 2 dollars. Can is in nice shape. I hope there is something underneath. this is a first for me. As I recall, I just get some compounding stuff and start rubbing, correct?
Anyone know the odds of me finding something?
Picked up a Wagner Quart today Maybe???

Any scratches where you can see another color through or peaking out at the seam? No idea on the odds of there being a can under there. Assuming it has a concave bottom, worse case you have some donor lids. Personally I think the Lockheed cans are pretty sharp. Nice find.

Crowntainer,
The bottom is concave and gold in color as opposed to the cone that is silver. No evidence of any other color coming through.

I'd say you're chances of having one under that are pretty high. Rubbing compound and a dry rag and lots of time is all you need.
