I regret now rubbing the HiBrau. I don't have a grey enamel on the shelf. Since I have not seen a rubbed out one, wanted to look. All white under. The CA is orange Nehi
Looking for Waukesha beer, water & soda; cans, bottles and signs.

Nice job on the rubouts joe. I don't think I am going to rub another hi brau out unless we see some better cans under. Arm still aches.

Re: POST YOUR PAINTOVERS HERE
Goofed around with a few paint overs the last year....thought I'd share a few. I'll post the starting can and in a few days post the underneath side.
My first attempt.
Started with this Augie Schell classic..... What could it be?...... No guesses @JustJoe or @ziphippie!

Re: POST YOUR PAINTOVERS HERE
Billy would have blue #460 left of seam or White Rock Iced Tea would have black #77 near the seam. All I’ve found under these so far. Hope you found something else! Ziphippie

Re: POST YOUR PAINTOVERS HERE
I’d rub it -the black #77 is for the Schell’s can, white#77 is for the White Rock. Made me look! Here’s an example, not the same Schell’s can. Ziphippie

Continental Can Co. for this era, either put the canning code next to the trademark on the label, the canning code by itself on the seam or the trademark with caning code on the seam. If both labels have the canning codes on the label, you wouldn't know until you uncovered it. Generally, two canning codes = paintover. Here are a few examples. Your doing it right by starting on the more common cans ! No two cans rubout the same. Be careful though, if the paintover bug bits, it can take you down a rabbit hole !

Re: POST YOUR PAINTOVERS HERE
Stepped into the way back machine with this one. Blue Mile Hi with a Kol underneath. If the sun hadn't burned off the top label, I'd have had no clue it was a paint over. But now the conundrum, it's a flat top Mile Hi. The Kol from Pueblo underneath is only known as a zip/tab top. I'm going with it as a one of a kind Kol flat.

Re: POST YOUR PAINTOVERS HERE
Very nice! I suspected the Mile-Hi’s from Continental #40 (like the Denver/Can-o-Pops) were paintovers, they have that ‘heavy ink’ look to them. Now I know. Great can. Ziphippie

Re: POST YOUR PAINTOVERS HERE
Appreciate the offer, but I'm going to hang on to this one. Only diamond Coke I have uncovered and with the mandatory listing Random Lake, Wisconsin (Grew up not far from there) makes it a little more sentimental. I believe it was heading for the same place that canned the Jolly Good brands. If I do come across another, I'll definitely keep you in mind !
