I think I have an ulcer now because of this league. I started the game down 8 (I think). I was still behind in the 3rd quarter. And with some touch and go luck was able to pull off a victory and advance to the super bowl. Two weekends of games and 5 points is all that separated Keith and myself.
Keith, dam you for the great competition. I hope your stomach and nerves feel better than mine.
The other game was decided by just 9 points, so who knows what might happen over the next 2 weeks.
In case you didn't notice....

Lots of good players for the taking. Have at it. Stacking up on SD and Washington players. Nothing for me to lose at this point.

Copied and pasted from the ESPN FFL Message board....
TEAMS,
I have just seen this thread and the dropped players. Please read below the PM I sent to Alex and Jim in the CHAMPIONSHIP game.... If anyone has questions or comments after reading it, please email or call me.
Alex /Jim
You two are in the final matchup which I'm sure you probably already know.....lol. We have a small problem that I want your help with. Breamer did a player dump and dropped his entire team. Though there is nothing "illegal" in what Mike did, I feel this is UNFAIR to the two of you being in the CHAMP game. Yours is the only contest that really matters how cans will be distributed. Everyone else only really maters who they will be sending cans to.
This is my decision on the matter:
Please DO NOT pick up any of Mike's dropped players. If you do, I will administratively DELEAT them from your team. I do not want the competitive balance disrupted this late in the season and make this as fair as possible.
Both of you PLEASE respond so I know you got this. If you have any questions or want to discuss, email at Beercans@sccoast.net or call me at 843-742-4500.
P.S. I am going to let all others grab these players to get them out of play for you guys. It will result in different players becoming available for probably next week as they drop someone to add someone. The second wave of players are FAIR GAME if you wish.
Thanks,
Scott (The Commish)

I have no problem with what Mike did in trying to improve his team. If this happened mid season it would not be a big thing at all. The timing in the very last match up of the season could alter the competitive balance with no weeks left to even things out. That is why I have made the decision I have for the 2 in the Championship game. It is my opinion that it is the fairest way to resolve this.
Cheers,
Scott

CONGRATS to Alex and Jim in making it to the CHAMPIONSHIP game. I would have been there if I played Cam Newton instead of Russel Wilson last week. DAMN!.....
.
Good luck to both of you and we will be watching......
