RBB Fantasy Football Leagues wrap ups for the week 2

#1

Post by thatsus02 »

Week 2 saw the NFL turned upside down like a pineapple cake as favorites were blindsided by those pesky look its a bird, no a plane, no it the underdogs. Many things went not as planned and again a few more highly drafted stars were put on the John Deere and carted to the infirmary.
In the Flat Top Leagues all games were relatively close and most undecided until the bitter ends. CraftZillas lost his first game of his double header to Wilburs Steamers as MIke defeated Clayton 76-71. UNEVENTFUL would be the headline for this game.
In other action, Beamer Polk High found away this week and squeaked out a 2 point victory over Sea Monicas QUARTZ #2 83-81, Thanks in large part to Andrew Lucks awesome 8 point performance on Monday Night Football. NOT!!!!!!
Dipers Sportman managed to lead his crew to victory this week 90-85 over Team Blackberry. Do people even still use those things?? Luckily for Alex the Falcons didn't show up for the first half against the NEW YORK GIANTS!
VP Keith moved his rookie squad to 2-0 after pinning Brads nuts to the mat once again this week. Brad did manage to score a league low 69 points this week which would have still lot to his bench by 1. Guess he would be better suited in a tag team format.
Love Guns Brady Ladys also moved to 2-0 rolling Winters kings into a snowman as Winter was BLOWED OUT 93-70. at least as far as this league is concerned. Heck Greg had 75 points on his bench which would also gained victory for him in this match-up. Maybe Greg has a team to watch out for this season. I can see his visions of rusty steel running through his brain as we speak.
In Can Top action, My 2nd end of the doubleheader fared worse than the first as Steamer X crushed the Saints 124-76. Isn't there a mercy rue in this league? This 48 point defeat (or Victory) was bad , but not as bad as the blow out of the week. The game I speak of was where Gordons Cowboys and Indians lost by 49 to the Gladiators of GREZT NATION. Even with no running back support to speak of on the Glads, Steve couldn't muster an attack against him. Maybe having three QBS on the bench isn't such a good fantasy strategy. Just saying.
McNallys Cats won a close one against Quartz #! 88-81. Scott loves running the league even at 0-2. Forget Big Cans Scott, time to put on the Big Boy pants next week.
Rookie Pinnacle Project rode the short bus to POINTSVILLE this week as he was scrubbed, scoring 56 points total. Lowest total in both leagues together this week. Blackerby who beats his son moved to 2-0 in the victory. And they say corporal punishment is a bad thing.
Bocks 100 point achievement as a point total this week would have been great if he wasn't playing LG's Do the Ickey Shuffle in the meat isle as his 113 point total topped the Goats. Gun were watching you!!!
With week 2 in the can, many might be starting to plan their vast lineup modifications. Some might be already packing cans to be shipped off to the better teams. For this sport fan, I am going to march right down in that Fantasy Football locker room and give them an inspirational speech that would make any televangelist proud. One thing I have learned is, its not over until its over, and its only week 2.
So until next week.............

Very nice. Thank you. Even with the loss and wanting to forget my evil thoughts towards brandon Marshall I was still looking forward to your recap.

Amazingly enough if you look at players stats Luck is actually beating out Aaron Rodgers but then again both of them have more running yards each than DeMarvelous Murray......heck even Peyton Manning has more rushing yards then that Eagles scrub nut.....

I am not celebrating anything yet. In fact I already have 2 sets of pay out cans together, just in case.

Very humorous report, as always! :smt006

Greg, aren't you a Bengals fan? You should know better than most that the Browns will screw with you if given a chance!
