Fantasy football playoffs week one of 1st rd doubleheader

#1

Post by thatsus02 »

Hello RUST FANs.... week 1 of the playoffs saw lots of scoring and lots of big names go down with injuries due to the weather.

With the first week of the doubleheader format in the books, the 1 vs 4 game saw lower seeded Saints knock one of Goliaths (Crowntainers) legs out from under him with a 134-99 week 1 lead. The saints are not resting easy though, as Clayton knows what happened to Seamonkeys , surley cold happen to him in the second game of this double header.

In the 2 vs 3 match-up, lower seeded Sweepers took a 115-100 lead over the Gladiators. Gladiators was unable to see most of his team play as they were covered in a foot of snowfall in Philadelphia . Sweepers is not holding his breath as Detroit and most of the Gladiator players are in the dome this week where they have yet to be slowed down.

In the consolation bracket, silver Bar lead steamersr by 2, Guns Wranglers lead the Hotdogs by 19, and the Ranchers lead the Sportmen by 11. Not sure how this bracket plays out after next weeks game, but really the only things that matters for them is what zip code they will send their merch to.

As another week passes, the wavier wire will be lit up with a flurry of pickups, as teams look to solidify their places in Rusty Bunch Fantasy Football Lore. Big games are yet to be played and outcomes are far from determined.

Until next week..............

Steve,
Before you start thanking God, your parents, and all your fans, you need to realize that it is a 2 WEEK matchup. Point for BOTH weeks are added TOGETHER to determine the winner. You are only LEADING with one more week to play..........

Scott with you being in line for cans I see your point. but for us that are not its just the fun of winning and the way it happened. this season has been crazy with lots of injuries to top players and bad weather to add to it? i'm just trying to finish strong with waiver wire pickups. great job on your season.

I agree Steve. I was not criticizing at all. I was just making sure you understood the format. I have a team that is half from the waiver wire as well. I have only been winning because people seem to have an off week when they play me.

Fantasy football is ALWAYS about the journey and fun rather than the prize...............

one day before the games resume and both higher seed teams behind. Could this be the year of the dark horse named underdog?

barring a 100 point night from the lions, it looks as though the scene is set for the finals.

I'm totally toast. Holy crap, opponent's RB goes for 5 td's and 51 points and "2nd String QB" puts up 33??? How does that happen? :?: :?: Down by 97 with 3 players to play tonight. Way to go Sweeper's R10 Seekers. Good luck in the finals!!
Thanks. Dave
