ATTENTION, may I have your ATTENTION. Mike Wilbur, is there a Mike Wilbur in this league.

After his breakout start to the season, his team has went on Vacation. Look at these #'s 101, 80, 114, 79, 62, 54, 41. No these aren't keno #'s, they are his total scores over the first 7 weeks. I thought his last weaks score was miserable, but his 41 this weak tops the list or should I say bottoms it. The funny thing is that his two bench players not on a bye outscored his whole starting lineup this week. By the way, Draper almost tripled him up, winning easily 112-41.

In happier news :smt026 :smt026 at least for me is that the Saints came marching in this week, eating up the Hotdogs 110-50. Peyton and Vincent Jackson matched Gordos whole team. Gordons low scoring performance would have been the joke of the week if it wasn't for Mike's Steamers.

In closer contests, Gray's Crowntainer's lost his 2nd of the season, helping everyone cause, 99-73 to Sweeper's Seeker's. Scott played his best, but his best wasn't good enough, said Seeker's.

Love Guns Wrangler's would have beaten all losing teams this week, the trouble was he did play them :smt017 . Ernst's Ranchers take him down 105-83, using Luck's 29 over Peytons Broncos to vault past him on Sunday night.

Lastly, Team Silver bar falls 102-74 to the Gladiators. Calvin Johnson explodes for 27 helping Reid, as Cutler became a shell of his old self pulling his groin :smt022 and totaling -1 point for the week.

With 6 weeks to go things are far from predictable in this league. Bye's continue, the wavier wire will be on fire and trading is almost unheard of in this league, even though I know of some attempts. With Thursday games and veto rules it is almost impossible to trade between the Tuesday and Thursday off portions of the week.

Hopefully the Steamers will do something with those numbers. Maybe he is in Vegas as we speak (or type as it may be :smt024 ) putting some money down. maybe he should catch one of those desert jack rabbits and rub its feet.

Until next week...........

An entertaining report, as always! Of course it would be more enjoyable not being on a downward slide. I'm hoping things get better, as the season winds down, but got my cans ready, just in case. As far as trade proposals go, they got to be realistic to warrant a reply. Not sure what some of you are smoking? :smt028

sometimes your big guy, say peyton manning is pretty much off limits, but if you only have one stud and your team keeps losing why not make a trade for a couple others that might help. one thing i have found out in fantasy football is that when someone is hot, even a small name, he is way to overrated, and when a stud is cold he is way to underrated. it just is a crap shoot on whether you think a player will stay hot or stay cold as to value. i just like it when people shake it up.

I send trades all over the league. Everyone values players differently. You never know who someone will like and whom they wont like. As long as I am sending out trade possibilities, it at least gets some dialogue going in most cases. It never fails that what YOU think is reasonably fair for both teams is RARELY seen as fair by the OTHER guy.

This league has some AWESOME parity to it. Last week, every team with a worse record than their opponent WON! That is at least the second week that that has happened across the board. It is still anyone's game!!!!

Beamer,
That is one heck of a team! I think you would be the odds on favorite to win the RB league if you had that one here...................... :smt023

They must have seen that what you had going wasn't working and any trade even bad was better than what you had. They where just being kind and you treat them like this. :smt021 ...........HaHA   Look at me, I win a game and I start talking smack!

that is always a factor in deciding to trade or not. i mean the fact that you might have to play them and dont want to get beat by your own players or the fact of making a strong team stronger, even if it helps you also.

Trading my starters for probable & questionable bench warmers on another team. Yep, I guess they were being kind and I didn't realize it?.... :smt023 :smt005
